Smart Rings in LATAM

Smart Ring Market in LATAM

The global conversation around smart rings has shifted from "interesting concept" to "real category." Oura crossed one million users. Samsung entered with the Galaxy Ring. Xiaomi, Huawei, and a wave of manufacturers are following. Analysts project a market worth over $7 billion by 2035.

But global projections don't tell you what's happening on the ground in Latin America.

At MCC Corp we tracked customs data across the region: real imports, at the SKU level, by brand and by value. And what we're seeing in Chile and Peru is worth paying attention to.

🇨🇱 Chile: from near zero to acceleration in Smart Rings

In 2024, smart ring imports in Chile were negligible. In 2025, the category began to move. In the first three months of 2026 alone, import value already exceeds the entire previous year.

🇵🇪 Peru: the same signal, different starting point

Peru entered the category earlier. By 2025, imports were already meaningful. In just the first four months of 2026, the market has already surpassed all of last year.

LATAM Smart Ring Market

Two markets. Same trajectory: A category accelerating well ahead of what any regional forecast anticipated.

The premium misconception

One assumption that consistently holds brands back from entering LATAM is that the region won't support premium pricing. That assumption is wrong, and the data shows it.

Chile has one of the highest GDP per capita in Latin America and a retail ecosystem that actively sells premium consumer electronics. Colombia and Argentina have urban middle classes with strong technology adoption rates. Brazil's São Paulo alone represents a consumer base comparable to many European markets.

The smart ring consumer: health-conscious, tech-forward, willing to pay for precision, exists in Latin America, but they are on their own; no brand has successfully captured the LATAM market yet.
